Important notice: if data in your Marquiz account does not match with Google Analytics dashboard, your clients are most likely using browser extensions that interfere with Google's trackers.
Google Analytics 4 integration setup:
In your Google Analytics dashboard go to Admin page => Data Streams, select your stream and copy the MEASUREMENT ID
Then, in your quiz editor, go to Integrations tab => Google Analytics. Select analytics version Google Analytics 4, paste the MEASUREMENT ID you copied earlier, and apply changes by clicking the Save button.
You can check if your integration is set up correctly by going into Realtime page, where realtime events would be displayed.
To set up conversion, go to the Events tab, find Marquiz_finish and mark it as conversion.
Important notice: if you don't see anything in your Events tab, for you'll have to wait for 24 hours for event collection to take part.
Quiz events, available for tracking:
For tracking several quizzes with a single GA trackes you have to activate Unique Goals. Then, for each goal, you'll need to add a suffix (quiz ID) for tracking quiz unique goals (i.e. marquiz_start_5aa84f60ee90d200185234af).
Tracking Adwords conversions:
If you need to track Adwords conversions, add quiz.marquiz.io into the Referral Exclusions list in order for leads generated by Marquiz not to be marked as leads from unknown sources. You can learn more about Referral Exclusions Google Analytics Support page.
