GDPR Guide for Beginners β€” How to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation

How to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation

According to the GDPR, Marquiz is the processor, and you are the controller.

The data controller is the one who interacts with the client, collects data and determines how to process it further.

The data processor receives personal data from the controller, stores it, or processes it somehow, as directed by the controller. The processor does not work with individuals and only processes their data strictly on behalf of the controller.

Our privacy policy regulates all activity on Marquiz. This is our primary document that guarantees visitor protection and privacy.

To comply with the GDPR, you must:

1. Create controller documents that comply with the GDPR.

2. Sign a Data Processing Agreement using DocuSign or other similar tools.

3. Enable cookie notification messages in the quiz. (You can do this in your quiz settings.)

4. Comply with the legal requirements, which include notifying the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) of any leaks, and responding to user requests (i.e., a user asking you to delete their data.)

The question (GDPR/CCPA) may not have document templates suitable for all users.

You can email support@marquiz.io for further information or contact us using the Marquiz app.
