Errors during domain connection

Manual guide if the domain isn’t connected

The most common errors during domain connection:

1. If the error "page not found" appears when you open your domain/subdomain, it means that your DNS records are not updated yet.

For domains: make sure that you have only one A record for the domain, and it points to the IP address 46.4.70.151.

You have to have the same record for the www subdomain.

For subdomains: make sure you either have a CNAME record for the subdomain you use with the value of quiz-proxy.marquiz.ru.

or you have an A record for it. The IP address is 46.4.70.151.

You have to have the same record for the lower level www subdomain. For example, is the subdomain you use is quiz.website.com, then you have to have the second record for www.quiz.website.com.

2. If the error "404 this quiz does not exists" appears when opening your domain/subdomain,

it means that you have inserted the wrong domain / subdomain in the quiz.

INCORRECT:

CORRECT:

3. If you get the error "connection is not secure", it means that the SSL certificate has not yet been issued. Please make sure you have only one A record per domain/subdomain and check it has the right address and no AAAA records. If there is a second record A or AAAA, then they need to be deleted. After that, SSL certificate will be issued within an hour.

If all this does not help, please contact the customer support service of your registrar, that is, the service where you bought the domain.

Title: How to change DNS records

Good day!

I have a question about the domain website.ru (change to your domain / subdomain)

I would like to setup the domain to open my quiz that I created on the Marquiz.io service. Here are their instructions for setting up a domain:  https://help.marquiz.io/article/2165

I need to register DNS records for my domain.

Type A records that would point to an IP address (choose the one you need)

Please help me with this task.
