How to create an integration with Zapier
Zapier allows you to instantly connect Webhooks by Zapier with 2,000+ apps to automate your work and find productivity super powers without knowing PHP or Webhooks. Zapier knows API specifications of all of them, which makes it easy to connect those services.
To connect the integration:
1. Sign up for an account at Zapier.com
2. Open the quiz editor. In the Integrations section, select Zapier
3. In the window that opens, click Connect Zapier and copy the API Key
4. Click the corresponding button
5. The connection between Zapier and Marquiz is now complete.
Example: Setting Up a Gmail Integration with Marquiz via Zapier
1. Log in to Zapier and click Create ➡️ Zap
2. In the window that opens, click Trigger. Enter Marquiz in the search bar and select Marquiz 1.0.1.
3. In the trigger settings on the right, select Trigger event ➡️ New Marquiz Lead. Click the button in the account section. In the window that opens, paste the previously copied API Key, choose your Region and save the changes.
4. In the next window, add a Quiz ID. Copy it from the address bar of your quiz editor. Save the changes.
For example, in the following URL: https://app.marquiz.io/quizzes/680a1ab2466b7f0026991b06/edit#notifications, the value: 680a1ab2466b7f0026991b06 is the Quiz ID.
5. Submit a test lead through your quiz.
Use the following test values:
Email: test@marquiz.ru
Phone: +79111111111
Messenger field: test
Name: any value
Then click Test Trigger
6. If everything has been configured correctly, the test lead will appear in Zapier.
7. Add Gmail integration to Action and specify the Action event, for example, Send Email
8. Customize the Action in Gmail. For example, you can specify who to send the message to by selecting the Contacts Email field from the quiz. Similarly, you can add fields from the quiz to the Subject or Body. Save all changes
9. Submit another test lead through your quiz, this time using a real email address.Verify that the email is delivered successfully
